Gentse Feesten 2025: Mokja x Babo at Blommm

We’re excited to pop up at Blommm during Gentse Feesten 2025 and warmly invite you to join us. This special collaboration between Babo Makgeolli and Mokja brings together handcrafted Korean rice wine and heartfelt Korean cooking in the tranquil flower-filled atmosphere.

Chef Ae Jin Huys of Mokja has crafted a beautiful seasonal menu that blends Korean tradition with local Belgian ingredients. You can enjoy comforting favorites like gimbap (seaweed rice rolls), a refreshing cucumber and seaweed soup, tangy fresh kimchi, and a delicate acorn jelly salad dressed with wild herbs and floral vinaigrette. To finish there is a smooth tofu chocolate pudding and summer blueberries.

Of course everything pairs perfectly with a glass or two of Babo Makgeolli, our fresh slowly fermented rice wine brewed right here in Belgium.
