Only three ingredients:

• Rice

  We use premium glutinous rice, known for its signature creamy mouthfeel and subtle sweetness. Although called ‘glutinous,’ this rice contains no gluten and the name refers to its sticky texture when cooked.

• Nuruk

  Nuruk is a traditional Korean fermentation starter made from wheat and is packed with natural enzymes, yeast, and lactic acid bacteria. These wild microorganisms are key to creates a complex and evolving flavor profile, with each batch developing its own unique character.

• Water

  Water is essential to makgeolli, shaping its flavor, texture, and fermentation. We use filtered rainwater that's sustainably collected and purified in our brewery, creating a clean fermentation environment and highlighting the delicate flavors of rice and nuruk.
