Thanks & Recap: Brewing Highlights

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our makgeolli brewing workshop two weeks ago! It was an absolutely amazing experience to have the opportunity to share our passion for Korean traditional wine and food with such an enthusiastic and curious group of people. We loved seeing your excitement as you got hands-on with the brewing process, and we hope that each of you walked away with a new appreciation for the art of makgeolli.

A special shout-out to Chef Aejin Huys from @mokja_letseat, who brought her culinary expertise and creativity to the table. Her perfectly curated pairings elevated the tasting experience, showing just how beautifully makgeolli complements a variety of dishes. The combination of Babo’s signature brews with her carefully prepared food was nothing short of magical.

As we reflect on the workshop, we can’t wait to see how your brews turn out. The fermentation journey is just beginning for each of you, and we’re so excited to hear how your unique batches develop over time. Keep experimenting, fine-tuning your techniques, and sharing your creations with us - we love seeing how your makgeolli evolves!
